IMA Innovationsmanufaktur Gütersloh was founded in 2022 with a clear vision: To bundle innovative power in Gütersloh and to create an environment in our city that advances us as a location for innovation.
The four pillars of the IMA
Network, knowledge, foundation and innovation are the four pillars on which IMA's work is based. They are all essential for turning the vision into reality:
Network
Gütersloh is a strong business location with numerous companies rich in tradition. In addition to global players such as Miele and Bertelsmann, Gütersloh already has a strong middle class. The IMA would like to network start-ups with the established economy and create a space in which start-ups and traditional companies can benefit from synergy effects. Maintaining such a network is an essential task of the Innovation Factory.
Knowledge
The IMA maintains a close cooperation with the FH Bielefeld, whose Gütersloh campus is located in the immediate vicinity of the IMA. It is not only the spatial proximity that is intended to achieve a strong dovetailing of science and founding spirit. As a place for knowledge transfer
Foundation
Founders benefit from the wide range of services offered by IMA: networking meetings, events, lectures, but also rentable office space, co-working spaces and room for creative development are just a few of the opportunities offered by the Innovation Factory.
Innovation
Innovations are the goal and the driving force of IMA, bringing people together to bundle and develop knowledge is the way to get there. "Real innovations are created where the most diverse people come together," says Jörg Rodehutskors, IMA's managing director.
