This year, for the fourth time, we are inviting all shopping fans to the "Crazy Shopping" campaign. From September 27 to November 2, 2025 customers can diligently collect stamps in over 40 stores, restaurants and service providers in Gütersloh city center and secure the chance to win a "crazy purchase" worth €500.
But special rules apply to the prize: The entire amount must be spent within two hours on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in at least ten participating stores to the exact cent, otherwise the prize will be forfeited. However, haggling and tipping is permitted in the stores.
Collecting stamps is simple: for every purchase, restaurant visit or service used in the participating businesses, participants receive a stamp on their stamp card during the campaign period. Stamp cards are issued in all participating stores.
For a chance to win, a completed stamp card must be handed in at one of the participating stores or at the gtm tourist information office at Berliner Straße 63 by November 2, 2025. Several cards may be submitted per person. All cards handed in will be entered into a prize draw to win a "crazy purchase" worth 500 euros. In addition to the main prize, there are many other great prizes to be won from the participating businesses.
On the occasion of the city anniversary "200 years of Gütersloh", the motto for redeeming the prize is: shopping for the perfect birthday outfit. Gifts are of course also allowed. The winner will be chosen and notified on November 4, 2025. The "crazy shopping" will be accompanied by Gütersloh Marketing for social media.
