On March 26, the "Gütersloher Feierabend - Sunset Markt" celebrates its premiere on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz. Against the backdrop of various mottos, the Gütersloh Feierabend offers a relaxed setting to end the day with good food and drinks. Some stalls also offer the opportunity to purchase items for sale. In 2025, the market will take place on the last Wednesday in March, April and May from 4 to 9 pm.

To kick off the Gütersloh Feierabend on March 26, visitors can look forward to the "Campfire" theme. Regional restaurateurs and other vendors will present their culinary specialties and various goods between fire barrels and bowls, creating a cosy campfire atmosphere.

The motto of the second Gütersloh Feierabend on Wednesday, April 30 is "Karaoke". The particularly brave will have the chance to take to the stage and perform their favorite songs in front of the market visitors. A stage-tested professional will be on hand to support the karaoke singers and motivate the audience to join in.

For the last event on Wednesday, May 28, visitors can look forward to the motto "Reggae". Relaxed rhythms and beats will bring Caribbean flair to the town hall forecourt. Once again, a wide range of food, drinks and other stalls will cater for the physical well-being of visitors.

The idea for the "Gütersloh Feierabend - Sunset Markt" came from a workshop as part of the center management. The center management consists of the urban planning department, conceptGT and gtm and deals with the profiling of the city center in order to promote specific projects in accordance with the district description. Gütersloh Marketing has taken up this issue and realized the Sunset Market on the occasion of the city's 200th anniversary celebrations.
