On Thursday, November 27, the Gütersloh Christmas market opens its doors and invites you to a colorful experience until December 30. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of culinary delights, handcrafted products and a varied stage program.

The Christmassy atmosphere is underlined by the atmospheric decorations in the city center: Illuminated lettering and trees of light in the lower Berliner Straße and the glowing „Organic Balls“ in Königstraße create a magical ambience. The „winter light“ of the ISG Mittlere Berliner Straße and the colorfully decorated „craft trees“ of the Gütersloh advertising association point the way to the Christmas market, which is traditionally crowned by a magnificent Christmas fir tree. This once again shines in the colors of Sparkasse Gütersloh-Rietberg-Versmold during the Advent season. Every year, Stadtwerke Gütersloh and Sparkasse Gütersloh-Rietberg-Versmold make it possible to present the Christmas tree, which stands as an eye-catcher at the Christmas market.

This year's gastronomic offerings will be as varied as ever. In addition to hearty classics such as bratwurst, chips, mushrooms and cauliflower, visitors can expect sweet treats such as churros, roasted almonds and gingerbread as well as warming drinks such as mulled wine, eggnog and hot cocktails. New on offer are Feuerzangenbowle, Baumstriezel and Venezuelan specialties. There is also an extended range of various types of gin and liqueurs as gifts.
