Team event bike tour

Cycle, discover, come together

Team events are a good way to promote cohesion between colleagues and strengthen their motivation. They provide an ideal framework for your employees to develop a "we-feeling" and improve their cooperation.

Bicycle tours are particularly suitable for corporate events. With light activity in the fresh air, participants have plenty of opportunities for conversation while exploring the surrounding area. The bike tours are also designed in such a way that they can easily be followed by a stop for refreshments to round off the team event.

Cycling through the farming communities with Walter Holtkamp

On the route of about 10 kilometers you will discover the listed farms of the district. The round takes about 2.5 hours. The tour starts at the parking lot of the St. Pankratius Church. From there, city guide Walter Holtkamp cycles with the group across the farming communities of Kattenstroth, Pavenstädt and Blankenhagen. Stops along the way are the partly listed farms of the district, such as the Barkey farm or the Meierhof Rassfeld. The tour ends at the Mühlenstroth inn. Depending on the season, there is the possibility to stop here for a traditional Pickertessen at your own expense.

Water adventure trail Dalke with Walter Holtkamp

Off into the countryside: City guide Walter Holtkamp takes his group out into the natural surroundings of downtown Gütersloh. All nature lovers and bicycle enthusiasts will explore the idyllic landscape of the renaturalized Dalke with him on a guided bike tour. The meeting point for the bike tour is at the parking lot of the Parkbad. Afterwards, the group, accompanied by Walter Holtkamp, will ride at a relaxed pace in the direction of the city center. The tour will follow the water adventure trail. This trail, developed by the Gütersloh Environmental Foundation, consists of twenty stations, including the city park and the weaving mill. At the stations, exciting background information, about the path, the renaturation of the stream course and the importance of the Dalke, Lutter and Wapel for Gütersloh, awaits the participants of the tour. The destination of the tour is the confluence of the Dalke and Wapel rivers. Here, in front of the doors of the Wapelbad, the tour ends. Afterwards, the café of the Wapelbad (depending on the season) invites you to stop for refreshments at your own expense.
