Deutsch City Park and Botanical Garden
The city park with its idyllic botanical garden is an insider tip for Gütersloh residents and visitors alike. In 2020, the green living room celebrated its 111th anniversary.
Daniela Toman, Larissa Lakämper and Monika Geißler are not just park guides. As landscape architects, members and also chairwomen of the Förderkreis Stadtpark, they have a wealth of knowledge about the history of the park from its beginnings in 1909 to the present day. The experts also have a lot to say about the importance of nature for people and animals in Gütersloh.
