The area of today's city of Gütersloh used to be assigned to different sovereigns, each with their own religious affiliation. The coexistence of Protestant and Catholic citizens has shaped our city just as much as the work of devout Christians in various areas of social life. Our city has a number of special features!
Together with city guide Rolf Erdsiek, participants will explore this part of the city's history, visit the three large historic churches, learn interesting and exciting facts about their construction and interior design as well as their significance, and also take a look at the religious instruction of the time.
