Review of a successful series of events on the subject of reading<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For ten days, G\u00fctersloh was all about literature. From October 31 to November 9, 2025, G\u00fctersloh became a city of reading for the fifth time. Around 30 readings and a varied program in the city centre in the first week of November attracted numerous visitors and made it clear how great the enthusiasm for books and stories is in G\u00fctersloh.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The mixture of prominent voices and authentic stories was very well received by the audience. The readings by presenter and travel journalist Tamina Kallert and ex-convict and true crime expert Maximilian Pollux, for example, were very popular and tickets were sold out after a short time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

However, the personal stories and authentic encounters were also what made many of the events so appealing: Author Magdalena G\u00f6ssling, who described her journey back to normal life after suffering a stroke, left a lasting impression on the audience. The reading by Josi Wismar, who presented her work \u201eFractured Fates\u201c, provided interesting insights into the process of creating her book. And actress Ronja Forcher, known from \u201eDer Bergdoktor\u201d, moved the audience with her autobiography, in which she tells of her seriously ill childhood friend.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Once again, special attention was paid to the next generation: G\u00fctersloh City Library delighted children and young people with a wide range of activities - from Kamishibai storytelling theater and reading crumbs to scary stories for Halloween. There was also a writing workshop for young talents.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On November 2, the Reading City G\u00fctersloh attracted numerous visitors to the city center. On Berliner Platz, a diverse program of reading-related events provided plenty of excitement. The comic speed workshop with Paul Paetzel was particularly well received and the TOGGO Radio with live moderation was a real visitor magnet. With a good atmosphere, exciting stories and many creative moments, the city center became a lively meeting place for book lovers of all ages.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
