Deutsch City guide training 2024/2025

Information event
With the free Information event on August 26 find out all about the course that will take you between the September 16, 2024 and February 10, 2025 with Monday evening appointments and various weekend seminars to conduct city tours. The information event will take place from 19:00 to 20:30 in room 13, Hohenzollernstraße 43, 33330 Gütersloh.
Content of the city guide training
We will show you how you can delve deep into local history and convey your special knowledge to anyone interested in a gripping and lively way.
There is of course room for your own ideas and interests. Do you have a special topic that you would like to inspire people with? In our training, we will show you how to discover your passion, develop it and present it with confidence.
From research work in the city museum and city archives to public speaking courses and first aid, legal and insurance-related topics, you will learn everything you need to know to work as a city guide.
The program also includes the development of a concept and presentation exercises in front of the group, as well as discrimination-critical content on dealing sensitively with all population groups. You will be accompanied by experienced city guides.

We would like to expressly point out that the participants of the city guide training should also work as city guides afterwards. The details regarding the scope of the guided tours to be conducted will be determined individually after consultation.
